Crazy Over You

Often the discernment of our favorite artists’ work affords the realization of their expression of iniquities, failures and short comings. In their transparencies we find parallels of our own struggles, facilitating an inseparable blurred line between shared realities. Within the confines of their oevre, we discover a resolve of our own inner turmoil transcending by comparison and commonality. And, it is in this an analagous burden that we take refuge.

I have always admired the bravest and boldest artists who weather their hearts on their sleeves, bearing their weakest attributes, and, in direct consequence challenge the viewer to do the same. It is only in the moment that when we choose to genuinely view our entire selves beautifully scarred and bruised, do we truly rise above our short comings and become the souls intended.
