Wicked Ways

This series and song was inspired by the 1930s and musical stylings of Cole Porter, specifically his song, “Miss Otis Regrets.” He was known for his svelte rythms and timeless, clever lyrics full of imagery. “Miss Otis Regrets” is the story about jilted lover of high society who took matters into her own hands after she found out her husband was unfaithful, and consequently she was lynched for murder.

As always, Kristie Winchell was a stunning model playing the leading Starlette alongside of Ryan «Slim» Cain, the antagonist. It was very exciting to create. Shooting it was on a movie set, planning costumes, creating scenes, sets hair and makeup and directing the models. This series was shot digitally. I also have a black and white set I hand printed that was shot on a 120mm film.
